Hello I¹m Philippe Manca from Paris (France not Texas) I performed and composed all the guitar solo parts of the first Era album on the songs Ameno, Enae volare, Sempire d¹amor, Mother, Avemano, and Era. I played the powered chords on Cathar Rhythm (it¹s wasn¹t too much complicated), the mandolin part on Era and programmed the drums on Ameno. The rest of the guitar parts on Mirror, Aftertime and Impera were performed by Eric Levi, I hope you can ear a differenceŠ I built the two first songs (Ameno and Era) in 1995 with Eric Levi and I worked really hard on the whole stuff from its genesis and it¹s a shame that he didn¹t want (and still don¹t) to be honest with me. I¹m glad that this album was a success but I feel a bit angry that nearly nobody knows what I did on it. When you say : ³For me, eRa's creators aren't only Eric Levi and ECC, but also musicians and other persons working on eRa., you¹re nearly right because except Eric Levi and Guy Protheroe (who did the vocals arrangements), I am the only musician who have created something on this album. You say this album and its music is a mystery so are the credits because as they are written on the cover nobody can find out who did whatŠ and millions of people think that Eric Levi can play guitarŠ Never mind, but if you want more information about my musicals activities you can write to me at : contact@zo-musik.com it will be a pleasure for me to answer to everybody. By chance, I came across the first album in a box a friend of mine from Ireland left me. Immediatly after pressing play, I was interested and captivated. Here in the US, we don't get many imports like this. Luckily, I obtained the first Enigma album (when MC Curly called them Device) from a friend freshly returning from the UK about 10 years ago. We just don't get good stuff like this here, unless we want to pay more than we should. Anyway, love it, can't wait to hunt the other two albums down.

I'm from miserable Croatia so everything I can say about this UNIQUE group is that it's...the best. I can listen to the songs every day and find something new, something special, a new sound, those words and choir.It's really the best group for me.

Jednak jesli chodzi o zespol to ERA jest OK, ale poprostu chowa sie przy ENIGMIE. Bo wszystko zaczelo sie od albumu "MCMXC a.D." i to jest prawdziwe mistrzostwo!!
